James started tattooing at the age of 17, so he has been working in this industry for around 18 years now. James knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in art after he initially started making moves as an airbrush artist, before realising there was no money to be made in that business. After getting his first tattoo, James knew that he could have executed the artwork better. It was at this moment that James decided to pursue his career as a tattoo artist – his passion for this industry had been ignited.
After a number of years working at various studios and learning the basics of tattooing, James developed and mastered his skills, moving towards Black and Grey realism. His work has since been celebrated, he is a multiple award-winning artist, including awards won in mainland Europe.
